"A lovely hotel with lovely views"

The location of this hotel is just perfect. We had a balcony with amazing views. Our hosts were very warm and welcoming and looked after us so well. Our room was spacious and comfy. We will come back!

I loved everything about this place! Dolma is the friendliest and most helpful host. Comfortable bed and pillows, hot shower, great location - very quiet at night, big room, balcony. I’d definitely stay here again!

I came in October, which is the end of the season so it was heading into Winter. The days were still beautiful, but nights were very cold (-3C) Dolma provided lots of blankets which was great, but if you are coming at this time of year be mindful there is no heating.

"The place where we feel at home!"

The very best guesthouse I have done so far in India! Rooms are clean and matches the pictures. Best bread for breakfast! Dolma (owner) has been like a 2nd mother for us and we felt at home. I highly recommend this place.

Just stayed at this place and it was wonderful! The space was clean and truly felt like home. The owner, Dolma, is the best! The beautiful garden was a serene spot to relax, and the environment had a nice, familiar feel with a mix of international guests. Also, the recommendations given by the family were really helpful and allowed us to make the most out of our week in Ladakh. Highly recommend!

"Great"

When I arrived from Kargil I was ill (fever, stomach) and I got a nice quiet room with large private bathroom instead of a room with a shared bathroom. I could take all the time I need to recover and the staff brought me water, tea and food whenever I asked. That was a great help. So if you like it quiet, cheap and supportive, this is the place.

My stay was fantastic! I travelled around Ladakh for a whole month and the Thangkop House was by far the best! The family is incredibly hospitable and makes you feel at home. The rooms are nice and the beds are very comfortable. It also has a very nice garden where you can relax. The breakfast is also great and always freshly prepared. I will definitely come back.
