Location was great, staff were friendly.

The room we had was not up to standard. The shower is awful, just drips. The paint was peeling off the bathroom walls. The fridge sounds like it’s dispensing ice all the time, which was disruptive in the night. The chair in the room was disgustingly stained. Nothing had been pat tested in the room since March last year. We were moved to the the sister hotel and our stay was much more pleasant. The chef also needs to be make sure the pancakes are fully cooked as I had some raw batter in one of mine. Which was a shame as they were tasty. I would say the actual website for the hotel promotes the two hotels as luxury stays which was definitely not the case for our stay. We were told there is a refurbishment in the autumn of the rooms.

How they allowed us to travel all the way to Bude (2.5hrs) and tell us on the lunchtime an hour before check in that the hotel wasn’t Open…. On a Friday in Cornwall trying to find an alternative!

The hotel is very close to the shops,golf club,and the beach.The staff in the bar were friendly,and very helpful.The breakfast served at the Beach Hotel was okay,but I had better quality in other hotels.It’s a great place to stay.

The sink in my room was smaller than a goldfish bowl,just a small point!The shower was excellent!

Die Lage ist richtig toll. Direkt am Strand, somit hört man Meeresrauschen zum Einschlafen. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll eingerichtet und man kann sich sofort wohlfühlen. Das Frühstück ist wirklich lecker und es gibt auch eine kleine, aber feine Karte zum Abendessen. Das gesamte Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Einfach richtig toll und absolut empfehlenswert dort zu übernachten.
