location and good breakfast which is served on the 'sister' hotel next door. felt lucky we got a parking space.

im not used to giving reviews but i feel i have to for this one. booked this hotel because of the very good reviews. i suppose those were before it was bought by the other hotel next door so it's probably under new management. upon arriving i was told to check in next door. the hotel reception lady is very lovely. but going back to the Edge there are no greetings/warm welcome from the staff there. they just pass through you like you do not exist. going upstairs to the room is a bit awkward as you need to pass through the restaurant entrance, so the diners can see you on on beach towel while they enjoy their food. the room cannot be rated as 4-star, no. i understood the need for the made up bathroom but shower and sink are so tiny so i have water spilling all over the floor when i wash my face. i had to dust-off the rack inside the toilet. no shower lights. i wish the make shift bathroom was extended up to the room ceiling as it looks really odd. not sure if they offer free tap water refill somewhere as no one really talked to us what and where on things. so we had to buy our water for the 3 days stay. one funny thing that happened is we went out at night, and the door code to go back into the hotel doesn't work. tried to call the hotel numbers and no one is picking up (understandably so as it was midnight). i didn't bother saving the direct numbers as well as i didn't think the door code will not work. we were stuck outside and joked about just spending the rest of the night out. luckily i was able to figure out what is missing in the code. my office use the same door lock but im imagining what if im someone who have no idea how it works at all. so best to test it out first before deciding go out. i hope with the new management it will have improvements. it's just really on a good location but the rest is just really meh. i dont feel i got what i paid for.

Location great with sea view for both rooms and bar terrace

Low beds posts both myself and partner kept catching our shins when we walked past Some minor decoration on the ceilings But other than that lovely room

Locatie en personeel waren geweldig.

Familiekamer is niet heel ruim, maar waarom zou je op je kamer willen zitten als het strand zo mooi is.

Die Dusche hatte so wenig Wasserstrahl, dass Haarewaschen nicht möglich war. Wlan Passwort bitte im Zimmer hinterlegen oder beim einchecken mitgeben

De locatie is perfect! Ontbijt heerlijk

De foto’s houden je voor de gek. Als blijkt dat je in het naastgelegen gebouw zit zijn de kamers super klein, de scheuren staan in de muren en er is geen zitje zoals op alle andere foto’s. De slaapkamers grenzen allemaal aan het dak waar steegjes achter zitten waar ‘s avonds veel lawaai is.

Comfortable room and hotel location excellent.

Recently taken over and in need of the planned renovation. Having to walk to the building next door for breakfast was not ideal, particularly in blustery weather.

Still awaiting my promised goodwill gesture agreed when leaving
