We stayed there for 3 nights and felt really welcome. The breakfast was very good and really filling. The host are also very caring and can provide you with lots of information for the hikes and further transportation. We couldn't ask for more!

Very cozy and quiet place. Only 2 guest rooms with a nice living room for the guests. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I can fully recommend staying there and will definitely come back. The only thing to be aware of is that the walk to the hotel is very steep. It is very close to the center but can therefore be a problem for those who have trouble walking. However, you can always take a tuk-tuk up.

The host and his wife were very welcoming and made us feel at home. The breakfast was also lovingly prepared by the owner. The view was very nice and the room was clean and comfortable. We can recommend the accommodation :)

I personally feel it’s overpriced for what you get - a basic double room with fan and hot water. The bathroom was poor, broken shower head, a poorly put together shower door, marks on the floor from where the toilet used to sit. Be warned, the property is up two very steep hills (the owner specifically asked me not to mention this in a review). We could hear music from the bars in town until 3am (noting this is not the owners fault). When we checked in the owner had to pick some sort of poop off the carpet. I found the owner to be quite intrusive, an example - I was at breakfast when I wasn’t hungry she is trying to pressure me into eating (this is common in Sri Lankan culture). We told her and her husband multiple times we were catching the bus and they tried multiple times to up sell her husbands taxi service. All negatives can be easily improved.

Best guest house for couple

it was the best place we have ever stayed in Sri Lanka. the host and his wife the wonderful people. we even didn't expect this warm greeting. would like ho highlight breakfast. it was incredible enormous thanks for it, especially pancakes with honey, it was delicious! definetely would come back here without any doubts. also the good wifi, it is rare for Sri Lanka!!!
