Emerald Mirror Guest Ella

This was a beautiful spot with only a couple of rooms, but more are on the way. It is above Ella, so you have a little more open space. It was a simple room that meets the basic needs. The host was willing to help with anything that was needed. The breakfast was excellent and delicious, with fruit, eggs, pancakes and more. The room had a small balcony off it which was nice to watch birds from. The host was helpful, friendly, and kind.

The approach to the guest house is on a very steep hill, so it is quite the walk up. Not all cars or Tuk tuks can get up the hill. It was a little tricky with a leg injury. At night the noise from Ella town comes up the hill. So there was music going on late.

This was truly the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Sri Lanka. The peaceful atmosphere, exceptional cleanliness and stunning natural surroundings made our experience unforgettable. The food was delicious, a especially the breakfast, which was simply top-notch. a What stood out the most a however, a was the kindness and hospitality of the owners They made us feel So welcome and cared for, E going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect A wonderful experience overall. Thank you SO much! We will definitely return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil getaway in Sri Lanka

Nothing all are good

The staff is extremely friendly - he prepared lovely breakfast for us in the morning. The bed was big and comfortable. The location is good - 5 mins walk from main city but with a hill.

The house is quite outdated. It looks better in the photos. The mosquito net was very dirty. We clipped it on the side to avoid coming in contact with it. No toiletries in bathroom and nobody changed our towels/ threw the bins for 3 days.

Wonderful place. Very clean. Perfect quality of towels and bed sheets so my sleeping was really good. Breakfast was good too, it was even more than I really needed. Highly recommend to stay here. No doubts

Needs more vehicular accessibility especially the last 200 mts is difficult to climb especially if the guests are not athletic. Of course the staff help with the luggage but physically need to climb the last stretch which is difficult
