In general the place was very nice. The owner was super friendly and very helpful wenn i got sick, due to food poisoning.

There was a very strange and intense smell in the dormroom.

Quiet and really calm place to be relaxed. I feel more enjoy there.

The road is not easy but worth it, really. At first you will be confused where is the place, but the owner, Pak Komang is the best path direction.

Sila Urip is that kind of place in which you arrive as a guest, and you leave as a family member. The owners, Komang and Kadek, a married couple, are just the more kind and exquisite people I have found in almost three months of moving around living the Bali experience. We ate together, had laughs, spoke about balinese life and traditions, they suggested me the best places nearby to find fruit or anything I needed at the best prices, and when I left for few days to visit Gili Trawangan, they allowed me to leave my rented scooter at their place to be safe. The bed in the dorm is super comfortable and the room is soundproof, so you can sleep nice and easy and with AC. Bathrooms are clean and functional. Right outside the dorm there is a common kitchen with fridge you can use and a porch where you can chill while having a coffee or journaling or listening to music while admiring the lush Mother Nature that extends in all its beauty, with fruit trees, flowers and birds chirping. They also have good private rooms if you prefer this option. And almost no moschitos! Plus, if you are interested in cultures, the whole place is a converted traditional balinese house, so you can actually see how it was structured in different buildings, each one with its own purpose. I was also allowed to join them in the offerings in their family temple. They are indeed very good people, one in a million, and thanks to them my time in Ubud was just marvelous. Frindly family house, near the center but in quite area. I extend my stay becouse I loved the atmosphere and the neighborhood. Clean bath and confortable bad in the dormitory, airco and liittle kitchen for the guest

I went to "Sila Urip Guest House" by bicycle from the airport. Normally check-in is after 14:00,but I checked in at 10am when I arrived. I was able to enjoy for 7 days-Adventure in jungle. I was tired every day, but I was energetic every morning. Because "Sila Urip Guest House" have cheerful,friendly,quiet at night,wide bed,Air conditioner,fresh water. One night, it rained heavily,In the morning, my bicycle was moved. They moved my bike so it wouldn't get wet. Thank you very much.

The location is perfect, in the heart of Ubud, a beautiful place, with unparalleled peace, just a few meters from the busy streets, but without the noise to sleep. The mattress is very comfortable. The host is kind and accepted my request to vacuum the mattress to remove some of the carpet beetle infestation, which made my night a little better. The breakfast, at an extra cost, was wonderful. **By the way, carpet beetles were something I found in many hostels in Indonesia, which is a shame. I work in animal health, so I was able to identify them.

If it weren't for the carpet beetle infestation I would have stayed at the homestay for 1 week, it was a shame, please take care of this infestation, which is simple to control. And I couldn't turn on the hot water in the shower, I struggled a bit to take a shower, because it was very cool at night.
