Villa Aroshina with cooking class

The most wonderful homestay with the loveliest of families. Aroshina and her family were so welcoming and kind. The room was clean and so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, all within 1 KM of the Fort. Would highly recommend!

Aroshina and her family were the kindest hosts, willing to drop you to the fort and local beaches in their tuk tuk. Room was perfect size and clean, had everything you'd need.

Design and comfort, beautifully furnished with antiques and plants everywhere. Lovely common areas and all the comforts of being at home. Very peaceful and quiet at night. A little oasis out of the city. Aroshina is a phenomenal and welcoming host, she was so warm and helpful and nothing was too much of an ask. Her cooking class was fantastic too. Her husband Manju took us to many places in his tuktuk including to run errands and also to a few cultural places we didn’t know about like a weaving factory. If you want to have a really genuine experience in Sri Lanka and truly connect with people you will love it here! Words can’t even explain how wonderful it is, you just have to experience it for yourself!

Das Zimmer ist ausreichend groß, hat einen kleinen Balkon, Klimaanlage und Ventilator und ein gutes Mückennetz. Das Frühstück konnten wir frei wählen und war super lecker mit traditionellem Essen, Ei und frischen Früchten. Es gibt einen kleinen Garten mit Lounge und Outdoorküche von dem aus man Affen und Vögel beobachten kann. Aroshina und ihr Mann sind die aufmerksamsten und nettesten Gastgeber, hatten viele Tipps für uns, und haben uns mit dem TukTuk von A nach B gefahren. Ein Highlight ist die Cooking class, welche man auch buchen kann wenn man nicht hier übernachtet. Aroshina ist eine wahnsinnig gute Köchin und wir haben mehrere traditionelle Gerichte von den Grundlagen an zu kochen gelernt. Sehr lecker
