Villa Aroshina with cooking class

It was perfect. Lovely room. Aroshina and her family are so welcoming and kind. They have made their villa perfect for their guests. The cooking class was amazing. So many tasty curries to try. Aroshina is a wonderful cooking teacher. The breakfasts were great. Aroshina is lovely to have a chat too aswell. She makes you feel like family. It’s really lovely to support a local family business. Also we saw monkeys at breakfast!

The hosts were so nice! And breakfast was very delicious.

Very very small room, bathroom was not very clean unfortunately.

Super friendly family home. Beautiful home with excellent breakfast. Met people who loved the cookery class and although we didn't t do it they were kind enough to invute us to try the delicious food they had made. A peaceful and relaxing home with very welcoming and helpful hosts. Just a short bus or tuk tuk ride to the fort. This place is superb. Thanks.

Room was a little small. The cooking class is available at additional cost - we only stayed one night so unfortunately didn’t have time to do it.

Best place to stay in all of Sri Lanka. Aroshina is a wonderful and welcoming host and her place is beautiful. The bed is comfortable and the breakfast was epic. Do yourself a massive favour and book a stay here. One night won’t be long enough!

Aroshina and her husband are really nice hosts, always trying to accomodate you and making sure your stay is perfect! It is a really nice house in a quiet neighbourhood, the room was great with fan and AC. We have not done the cooking class but have smelled and tried once the food (thank you to the nice couple who shared their preparations with us) and one thing for sure we will come back and do the cooking class next time around!

Wonderful place to stay and experience a bit of local culture and cooking. Rooms were clean, comfortable with air con and private bathroom. Lovely places to sit and read or watch the monkeys. And Aroshina and her family were incredibly welcoming! Her husband even gave us tuk tuk lifts when we wanted to go out. Also, the cooking class and Aroshina's breakfasts were amazing. Would definitely recommend if you're staying in Galle.

Amazing stay with great service. Very knowledgeable and would tell us about the local foods, things to do to avoid tourist trap & would organise trips if needed
