Guest house Ivona

The location is really nice. Rooms were clean. Perfect for one night in Split.

It was a bit hard to find at first.

It was a great place to stay and the hosts were amazing, we needed some towels late at night and they came through with the towels, and also just very nice i whould definitely recommend

It was in the old town and felt very like your own home for the time you were there. The kitchen was perfect and well equipped- we were only there one night so didn't cook. The decor was fresh and although not huge in area perfectly sufficient for our needs It would be ideal as a base for exploring the area . We didn't have a car so it was perfect for us - the old town area is beautifully higgledy piggledy with cobbled streets! Case wheels didn't enjoy the journey!

No parking close by but that is minor in the scheme of things!

Ivona and her mother were both friendly and welcoming. They organised a trip for me. It's in a great location.

Ivona was a lovely host! She was attentive, helpful, and so kind. Let us drop off our bags early before check in too! Laundry service for 7 euro was excellent, and the place was squeaky clean. Location is right in old town Split, but far enough removed that you won't get swept up by a sea of all the vacationers as soon as you step outside.

We stayed on the ground level, so service and WiFi connection was left to be desired (but we were also a group of 5 people there for work, attempting to download and upload documents all at once). Streaming worked fine, so if that's the most you're doing, no problem! If you're trying to Uber there, just shoot for a main road near the location, otherwise they're likely to drop you off somewhere that'll require a decent amount of walking.

Lovely place with good amenities, and a great restaurant below. Very close to the sunset beach, which is great!

The best thing about the place is the host. She really went above and beyond to take care of me. For the place itself, I appreciate that the A/C works well, and the shower has hot water and good pressure.

The wifi was not working for the entirety of my stay, but I was able to use my phone as a hotspot, so it was ok. The place is... humble. There are a bunch of things that are broken / old, for example the mount where you put the handle held shower head was loose, and the shower head fell out and sprayed all over the place like a cartoon fire hose. My friend booked another place a couple of blocks down towards the water, and his place had a nice entrance like a proper hotel with a doorman, a giant king sized bed, modern decor, a balcony, couches, and a jacuzzi in the bedroom - for about the same price. This place felt more like a backpacker hostel. Also the walls are quite thin, so you can hear other people in the building. Lastly, I had mosquitos in the room that bit me at night.

The location was fantastic - right in the centre. The host was really friendly and available if there was anything we needed to ask. Great value for money.
