Lovely terrace and view over Ella, fridge and sofas overlooking the town. Friendly staff, great breakfast

Be warned. The hill up the property is steep! Although the staff came down in a car and picked up our baggage and one of us, so we could get our tuktuk up as light as possible, very helpful!

The hotel is in a good area, just off the Main street. The rooms are comfortable and worth the low cost if you prefer a more Sri Lankan style stay. The hosts were very nice and it was still very quiet and peaceful as you get a nice feeling of being in the mountains.

The hill to get up to the hotel is extremely steep. I read the previous reviews and thought it will be ok, but be warned when I say steep, I mean STEEP! Definitely not easy for someone with health conditions.
