Nice room. Pub good with basic but nice food.

Chalet doesn't have a garden as stated. It is in fact in the beer garden so little to no privacy and if the weather is good expect people sitting right outside your window all evening

Enjoyable stay with lovely friendly hosts! Chalets are adjacent to pub and overlook terraced pub garden. We had hot weather but there was always a lovely breeze outside. Needed a fan inside (lovely landlady didn't hesitate to get us one) as only a small top window opens and the chalets are very well insulated. Can imagine they are lovely and warm in colder weather. Lovely quiet location and the pub is an old one. Was lovely to get a cold drink literally outside the chalet door, just down a few steps and through french doors to the bar. Always lovely and quiet when we got back and in the mornings, even with people in the pub or sitting in the garden. Really didn't notice or feel like you were adjacent to the pub. We stayed in the chalet with the bath, with a spacious bathroom. Think one of the other chalets has a fridge/kitchenette. Great idea to make the chalets a little different. Bus stop to Deal is at top of road. One bus an hour while we were there! But we walked in also as brought my dog and there's a few ways you can go. Takes about 45mins or so. Bus takes 5! Would definitely stay again. Thanks for a great friendly stay!

Nice comfortable and don't chalet, good location for deal and the Dover ferry.

The kitchen was a bonus with use of a few appliances. There was plenty of hot water and the shower/bathroom was clean. The beds soft but ok.

Having the pub garden benches with noisy people often smoking close to the window!
