It was exceptionally clean. Towels were lovely and soft, beds comfy. The room was basic but had everything you needed... Fridge, kettle, toaster, teas and coffees. The landlady was very friendly and it was perfect for me and my little girl to stay whilst visiting friends and family. I was anxious that it would be noisey in the evening because of the beer garden but it wasn't.

Fleeting overnight stay but would definitely return. Very well equipped and space to let the dog stretch his legs outside after a very long car journey. Looked lovely but we didn't get to sample breakfast, unfortunately! Super comfy beds...

the room was larger than I expected but the sink plug was jammed and I had to free it with a tea spoon. We ate in the pub and the food was nice and reasonably priced. When we left in the morning no-one was around to check-out, the pub was locked-up. We met a lady outside who said she was the cleaner arriving at 9am and gave her the key.

I thought I had booked room with breakfast but the host insisted that it was 'Booking.com, not bed & breakfast so b/fast would be extra, we didn't have b/fast. The chalet was at the rear of the pub facing a popular beer garden as the weather was nice we had to close the curtains as the customers sitting in the garden were immediately outside our window and could look straight in. They were noisy, so the room was noisy and then kareoke started in the bar at around 9pm.

chalet just what you need for a comfortable get away , good food in the public house . lots of entertainment, friendly bar staff , host and hostess very helpful and friendly.

Excellent owners very welcoming locals lovely and talkative and cleaners met us in morning polite and took keys perfect quick stay :)
