Raka House Accommodation

Great value if you're after something basic and not planning to spend a lot of time at your accommodation. Big room, comfy beds, mosquito nets, fridge. Big bathroom with lots of bench space. For breakfast they catered for my celiac friend with gluten free omelet and potato. They gave us a thermos of hot water each day, with tea, coffee and sugar available (no milk). No toiletries, and towels/curtains were worn out, but as I'm more concerned about the environment than feeling special, that's going in the Pro's list 😊 The pool was green when we arrived, but I mentioned it via booking.com and it was fixed the next day.

The family who presumably owned the land were very separate, and the young men who worked there were usually hard to find. I ended up communicating via Booking.com - I recommend asking for a WhatsApp number upon arrival. They never asked us about tours etc, so if you want advice or a chat, it's not the place for you. There was no common space except 2 chairs beside the pool.

Everything was perfect during my stay. Stuff is very friendly. The room i ve got had a big authentic balcony with a view. Every morning there where hot water in a pot and the coffee on the table. The location was perfect. In a city center close to everything but at the dame time it was very peaceful. The bed was so comfortable, im gonna miss that one. Thank u very much! Ill be back very soon!

We were in this hotel for the second time. Very good breakfast in the morning and very nice and helpful staff are a great plus!!! Thanks for our wonderful stay!

Amazing location ! It’s right in the center of Ubud but in a small street, so it’s super quiet ! The hosts are nice and helpful. The rooms are a bit dark but well equipped ! They do cleaning everyday which is really good. The wifi works really well.

I chose the place because it had a pool but it was too dirty to get in.

Family and locstion

Location is ideal to exploring Ubud. Tucked off a busy street and quiet. Its a family home rich in tradition, so multiple offerings happening daily. Everyone was so friendly and kind. Breakfast was served daily! We had room 1 which felt like the pool was all ours.
