Raka House Accommodation

Ideal location and good for price.

Air conditioner was very noticeably noisy at night and the padlock on the door meant it stayed cracked open during the day making us worry that animals had creeped in

Pretty simple and straightforward hotel. Its a little bit old but I didnt really mind since I only stayed in here to sleep. Owner was an old man who would wave everytime he would see me, it was adorable. Hehe. The location is perfect since its in the middle of the center of Ubud so you can just walk anywhere.

Great (central) location, friendly staff, quiet

Construction at the back meant the view from our balcony wasn’t pretty, but it was certainly interesting to watch

The bathroom door was hard to close. The reception was a bit disorganized. But overall it was clean.

Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast good. Room facilites good except (see below)

Bed matress uncomfortable due to worn out springs. Garden disappointing not typical of Balinese lush natural plants and foliage Location rather isolated

The location was excellent, close to the centre of Ubud The male staff were friendly The newer rooms looked much nicer than my twin room. Room 1 by the pool looked better. The breakfast was fine with a flask to make tea or coffee.

Booked a twin room, and it was the worst room in my 3 weeks in Bali. Smelt musty and was dark with poor lighting and dingy. Had to ask for toilet paper. No cleaning products in the bathroom. The towels were dirty and unusable. Pillows needed putting in the bin. Very disappointed as looked reasonable online. Would have left without staying but arrived really late after a long day of delayed travel. Much nicer places are available at the same price close by.

Breakfast was good every morning

The shower could have a curtain so that the whole floor didn’t get so wet The bathroom door and sink need maintenance

The only good point it was the location.
