Raka House Accommodation

Convenient location, clean, spacious room. Responsive friendly host. Air conditioning. Good breakfast. Fridge. Pool.

Minimal toiletries, shampoo and conditioner would have been helpful. A bath mat would have been helpful. Construction next door. Basic but not bad for the price. Lots of ants living in the patio table that breakfast was served at who all joined us for breakfast.

The room was lovely with functional mosquito curtains, a mini fridge and a very effective AC. The bathroom was spacious with lots of counter space and hot water. Breakfast was good, not much variety but good. The location was very central but tucked away in a little side street, very nice and quiet. The pool was clean.

There were multiple incredibly small birdcages on the property. The birds inside had nothing but a rod to sit on and were exposed to the heat and visibly struggling with it. It was very sad to watch and walking past them made me feel awful every time and is the reason I give this accommodation a 7 instead of a 9. The door to the room locks but with a large gap in between and an unpleasant smell came up from the drain after showering.

Great property if on budget ! Breakfast was delicious and made as quick and early in the morning. Property was clean. Basic toiletries were provided however no Towels in the room or shower gel. Staff was brilliant ! Very friendly and understanding. Overall, its a great value for money the balcony views and swimming pool was great (pool temperature was just good for swimming). Would definitely recommend the property overall :)

the shower floor was not even and had a rough surface.. A bit difficult to take a shower - afraid to fall. Also barking dogs, stray dogs in the property. walkway was sometimes slippery.

Clean, beautiful and even though it’s close to town it’s so quiet back there. Perfect place to decompress after a busy day and have some silence. Beautiful family that runs it, always a tea on balcony when you wake up !

We had a very pleasant stay at Raka housse, which we ended up extending because the place is so pleasant and the hosts so lovely. Very comfortable beds, hot water, tasty breakfast, perfect location close to everything. I highly recommend it!
