Historic features, good bed, nice showers.

Firstly, almost impossible to find- even the locals were boggled! Tiny door to alley off high street- should at least mention it in description. Unbearable heat in bedroom 15 to which the loud, noisy portable fans made little difference- I would have been better off sleeping in the corridor! Aircon needed. Breakfast is a grab bag- you don’t learn this until after you have booked. Steep, narrow, frankly shabby staircase to second floor that’s tricky to negotiate bags up.

Amazing location and beautiful building.

No fridge in the room, and only the use of big fans to deal with the extreme heat. Probably great during cooler weather, but it was a struggle with 30+ heat.

La habitación era muy acogedora, bastante amplia. La cama grande y cómoda, al igual que el baño. La ubicación es espectacular; en pleno centro con todo cerca. Tienes una máquina de café y un hervidor de agua para hacer té en la habitación. Te dan shampoo, acondicionador, jabón y body lotion de cortesía. En general, nos gustó mucho este alojamiento.

No hay ascensor, pero eso ya lo sabíamos al reservar.

I liked the location within the city walls and the bed was very comfortable

The room did not have AC and was poorly ventilated. The room was hot from a hot day in the UK and did not cool down at night, even though it did outside. The fans provided didn't help much. The room was carpeted and didn't seem sufficiently vacuumed as stuff came up from the carpet from the fans. The coffee machine didn't work, but I was able to make instant coffee from the teapot provided at least.

The entry keypad when accessing the hotel after the gate is locked . The numbers on the keypad had worn off , so you couldn't see them . Luckily a member of staff let me in from within the hotel . I did inform a member of staff when checking out and they are going to rectify the problem.

It was close to everything and it was locked by a gate at night so very reassuring,also staff very nice and welcoming and a good supply of good tea and coffee

Really easy access to York centre

Very hot. Despite fans, the limited opening on the window and tiny room in the roof made limited air circulation. Wouldnt bother ordering breakfast again. Just a minimal grab bag. With so many places in York to eat. Staff were pleasant but minimal engagement with guests.

Everything was soo amazing....soo peaceful....security amazing with a locked passageway after a certain time...👏🤗

There was anything with accommodation.....only thing was the steep stairs...but expected in old property....we perhaps should have asked...but was our 1st time at Judge's Court...but will definately check and book again another time 🙏🤗🙌
