"Peaceful, relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable."

Relaxing & peaceful location with only a short, scenic walk to York city centre. Clean, spacious and well maintained accommodation and was perfect for my requirements.

No dislikes whatsoever.

"Generally good but a bit spartan."

No restaurant so no breakfast offered. Nearby facilities keep limited hours and cater primarily to local residents and workers. I walked into York central, about a 45 minute walk, for breakfast.

I arrived mid afternoon. My room was ready but very cold. The heating came on early evening but I was out by then. Not very welcoming.

"Quiet, comfortable and clean - would recommend"

Quiet, comfortable, clean, simple. Well placed for the University and a straightforward 20-25 min walk into town. Reserved parking a bonus.

The power shower struggled to get hot but wasn’t a major issue.
