Jaye's Homestay

Great value for money. Very safe place for solo travellers. Very quiet and peaceful homestay on the hill within nature. Beautiful view overlooking the Buddha statue. A caring and friendly place to land with a really genuine, helpful and lovely family.

街から少し離れた山の上にあり、喧騒から離れて落ち着いて過ごせました。部屋から見える眺めは素晴らしく、リスや猿が見られて楽園みたいでした。スリランカの事情に詳しいオーナーのおかげでこの国が好きになりました。夜ご飯、とても美味しかったです！ありがとうございました！

Die Lage ist super, zental aber nicht mitten im Trubel. Jaye idt ein sehr sympathischer und kommunikativer Gastgeber, der gerne mit Tipps weiterhilft. Frühstück war auch sehr gut. :)

Comfortable room.

Great location a short walk from the lake and Temple of the tooth. Very clean rooms with a beautiful view. Beds were large and comfortable. AC and wifi very effective. Showers large and enclosed, with hot water. Great value for money and friendly family running the Homestay.

Very comfortable and clean property. Jaye is incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Good location to access Kandy and just far enough away from the noise.

We had a great stay here, Jaye was super friendly and made us feel very welcome! The room was big, clean with good A/C and had a great view over Kandy. Would definitely recommend!

Le prix est bon marché, donc aucun souci avec le rapport qualité prix. Le service de blanchisserie était très bon marché aussi.

Il est difficile pour moi de comprendre les notes élevées de l'établissement jusqu'à présent. Les locataires précédents ont loué la vue. Oui, mais uniquement si on est à l'avant de l'établissement. Sinon, la chambre est assez basique, sans anti-moustiques. J'avais loué pour 1 personne. Nous sommes arrivés à 2. Nous n'avions donc pas de 2e serviette de bain, ce qui est logique. Par contre, in"y avait pas de shower-gel. Il n'y avait pas non plus de savon d'évier. Et quand nous avons demandé "towels and soap", nous n'avons pas reçu. J'avais un urgent besoin de blanchisserie en vue de la suite de mon voyage. J'ai donc demandé un laundry service. Ce n'était pas possible, il fallait un certain nombre de kilos, sinon ce n'était pas profitable. J'ai insisté en disant qu'ils pouvaient me charger jusqu'à 100 kilos, mais que cette blanchisserie était essentielle pour moi. Il a fallj insister, discuter, parler au mari au téphonr, bref une perte de temps interminable avant qu'is n'acceptent de prendre mon linge en charge. Finalement, ils ont fait payer ce service, 1000 roupies, bref une somme dérisoire. J'aurais préféré payer 10000 roupies, mais ne pas perdre 1 heure à devoir insister. Bref, ce logement n'a malheureusement pas répondu à mes attentes, malgré le petit prix.

Es war wirklich ein toller Aufenthalt. Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war perfekt. Wir hatten das Sri Lankische Frühstück. Der Gastgeber ist wirklich toll.
