Jaye's Homestay

Jaye was very friendly and helpful. We had nice conversations with him during breakfast. Other than requiring a climb from Kandy Lake, the location was convenient and had nice views. We would stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jaye's Homestay. The location was perfect for exploring Kandy. A short walk down the hill bought you out at the lake and all the hustle and bustle of the city. It is also situated high enough up the hill to escape all the noise in the evenings. We had beautiful views from our room and balcony overlooking Kandy and the Buddha on the hill. We enjoyed spending some downtime relaxing watching so many birds and monkeys while nestled amongst beautiful gardens and towering trees. The room was large and clean with the best shower we have had in Sri Lanka. Breakfast was amazing and delicious. There is a choice of traditional Sri Lankan or continental. Both were beautifully prepared and tasty. Jaye was a wonderful host. We really enjoyed conversations and his company at breakfast each morning. He was very helpful in assisting organising tours and transport. I would highly recommend this homestay to anybody looking for somewhere to stay in Kandy.

位置就在湖区附近，这是阳光房，一般在山附近都是挺潮的这个特别好，景色棒棒的，还有，夜灯，吹风机，床品特别舒服，我在斯里兰卡用床品最舒服的，但是一定注意不要开门，因为有猴子，在这有蚊帐，但是蚂蚁会进入开门的话，打tuktuk你自己要记得在哪里下去，特别近但是打车有时候当地人也找费劲，在山上↑他们地图还绕远，其实特别近去湖区几分钟，老板英语特别好，刷卡也可以，阿姨还帮我砍榴莲我们一起吃，老板妈妈很热情

Alles Sauber, sehr freundliches Personal, Gutes reichhaltiges Frühstück. Ruhige Lage. Man sollte wissen Kandy liegt im Gebirgstal dort sind also ringsrum Hänge an denen die Hotels/Pensionen gebaut sind, somit muss man immer irgendwie bergauf oder Berg runter. Wem das nicht gefällt sollte dort nicht übernachten. Ist aber fußläufig alles in weniger als 10 Minuten zu erreichen.

Wenn man mit dem eigenen Fahrzeug anreist ist das Parken etwas schwierig aber möglich.

Vriendelijke huisbaas. Locatie ietwat afgelegen van het centrum maar na 10.wandelen sta je in het centrum. Mooi uitzicht. Lekkere douche. Heerlijk ontbijt.

Sehr moderne Ausstattung, sowohl Zimmer als auch Bad. Jaye ist super nett, gibt hilfreiche Tipps und spricht sehr gut englisch. Toller Blick über Kandy.

Tipp: Vorher nach dem Preis für‘s Frühstück fragen! Wir fanden es etwas teuer, allerdings war es auch sehr üppig.
