Great communication with Melanie before we arrived. We were 2 adults travelling with 2 children (3 years and 10 months). Melanie, Hanthana and Sachin were extremely kind and very understanding of our 3 years challenging behaviour! The food cooked by chef George was great and Melanie even stepped on one morning to cook us chocolate pancakes which weren’t on the menu and delighted our 3 year old boy! We took a 1.5 hour hike around the area and the scenery was absolutely beautiful.

The natural pond behind the property was quite empty which we totally understand is because of the weather / rain but just be aware if might not be as appears in the photos all year round!

Lovely location and great view from the pool and garden area. Great place for breakfast. Staff were lovely.

We were a bit disappointed to be in a separate building from the main hotel. The journey into Kandy wasn’t as quick as usual given that the normal road is being repaired - it was quite tricky finding a tuk tuk to take us back from the centre because of this - not the hotel’s fault, however, something to be aware of. The food was good but portions were a bit mean for dinner.

Je komt hier toe in een luxe paradijs. Prachtig hotel, prachtige omgeving, magnifiek uitzicht. Het ontbijt en avondeten was echt super lekker, fantastisch gegeten. We gingen met Nilanka naar de lokale markt, we vonden dit een super ervaring, dankuwel Nilanka!

Onze kamer was niet in het hoofdgebouw, wat op zich ook echt perfect was. Enige minpuntje dat ik heb is dat er ‘S nachts enorm veel lawaai is van straathonden, wat het voor mij dan niet zo rustgevend maakte dan ik had gehoopt

Villa Rosa is a beautiful boutique hotel overlooking Kandy. The accommodations were comfortable and the pool + view were exceptional. We also really enjoyed the food plus a yoga class & massage we booked once we got there. Highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful setting overlooking river valley with wildlife like kingfisher etc. Mosquito net provided. Room view #9 special. Large wet room.

Location awkward, but did offer to tuktuk us to the centre of town.

Wunderschöne Anlage, gute, entspannte Atmosphäre, der Blick über den Fluss vom Pool und vom Restaurant, Herr Bethge und das gesamte Personal sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Guter Service, leckeres Frühstück und Abendessen
