Excellent food, wonderful view over Kandy

Sehr schöne Lage mit toller Aussicht über die Landschaft und Blick auf die Nine-Arches-Bridge. Geräumige Zimmer mit schöner Aussicht. Überaus freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal und ein sehr aufmerksamer und zuvorkommender Manager (vielen Dank an Duminda).

Das Hotel liegt (glücklicherweise) etwas außerhalb der sehr belebten Ortsmitte, dennoch sind hin und wieder Tuk-Tuks wahrzunehmen, die unmittelbar vor und unterhalb des Hotels vorbeifahren.

Lovely breakfast on the terrace or dining room. Lovely spacious rooms. NB If there is one tip it’s that you eat there in the evening.A great chef who prepares and cooks delicious meals After a long day out and about this is great.Wine ,spirits and beer available too.🍺🍷

Amazing place, maybe the best we had ever. Natural, in the middle of the nature. Lovely view over the river. Excellent place for relaxation. Generous service. Very attentive an smily staff, especially Buddhika. Very good breakfast. Amazing Yoga space. We were in room 10, new building, not view to the river, but to a valley. Joint small lobby with room 9. I had a very good massage with Ashoka.

Set in attractive gardens with fabulous views the website depicts the property well, the food is very good and fresh and well served. Our room in the annex was comfortable, nicely decorated with a lovely balcony although the plants were dead. The view is stunning but the dogs in the area barked for much of the night although they could not be heard from the main house rooms.

A couple of easily rectified issues for me, the cloth garden umbrellas are very grubby and the fridge in their kitchen is mouldy and filthy, you can store goods here alongside the host food as there is no fridge in the room.

The views are lovely, the gardens are well maintained, the balcony is a great spot for eating your meals. The food was freshly prepared and tasty, we enjoyed the Sri Lankan rice and curries. The staff were friendly and helpful and responded to any requests. We would highly recommend staying there.

The Road up is a bit tricky but our driver felt it was worth it for the location of the hotel. The shower water was not contained and went across the floor.
