Great location, great staff, fabulous hotel with beautiful views and swimming pool. Great food. We loved our stay here and the best hotel we have stayed in in Sri Lanka. Highly recommend.

Fabulous warm and friendly hotel. Staff were amazing and the food was first class. Stunning views and if you’re looking to really chill out then this is the place for you.

It’s a little off the beaten track but there are options for getting in and out of Kandy.

We had such an amazing stay at Villa Rosa. We had come straight from Colombo airport arriving very early at 6am and were given a wonderful warm welcome with a lovely breakfast and very kindly were allowed to sleep for a few hours in another room until our room was ready. The location is amazing with great views up high away from the hustle and bustle of Kandy but easy to get a tuktuk down into the town. A highlight was going down to the local market to buy ingredients for dinner that evening with one of the team, to then later watch the chef cook with them and then eat a wonderful meal of rice and curry.

It was a bit of a long and winding tuk tuk ride to town but that made the oasis effect of the property more pronounced

J’ai aimé cette villa pleine de charme avec une vue sublime sur la rivière et les environs. Le personnel est adorable, mention spéciale pour le manager qui vous conseille pour que vos visites soient pertinentes. Les masseuses du spa très professionnelles, un bon moment de detente. Les chambres spacieuses et joliment décorées. Cuisine délicieuse Bravo le chef !! Les espaces extérieurs avec la piscine sont très agréables, difficile d’en partir!

J’ai tout aimé dans cet hôtel, j’ai eu juste quelques inquiétudes pour y arriver car les chemins sont très étroits et par toujours en bon état

Difficult approach road.

We loved Villa Rosa, the view is incredible, the staff is so welcoming and helpful, beautiful pool and delicious food!
