Very rustical and familiar ambiance (including pets)

No window in the room

This was our home base in Quito. Location is great right in the middle of the old town. Bed was comfy, room was clean and we had plenty of hot water. Breakfast was delicious and very generous. Edna was absolutely wonderful, even accommodating a very early breakfast for us on the day we were climbing Rucu Pichincha and prepared a delicious packed lunch with an energising home made smoothie which saved our lives up at 4,000mts+!!! We got to stay in the Mountain View apartment which is definitely recommended and worth the extra bucks. Laundry service was great and we left our luggage there for about a week as we went hiking the Quilotoa Loop. We felt very welcomed and comfortable here.

Leaving!

1. there is no continental breakfast or breakfast ala card. 2. no warm water in the shower. 3. you hear every sound on the floor and on the street. 4. the staff speak Spanish only. If you are using a translator they answer talking in Spanish to you.

Friendly and helpful host. Quiet area near historical center. Tasty breakfast (fresh fruit and juice, eggs and other typical food).

The bathroom and towels could be cleaner. Hot water lasts too little.

This centralized dwelling, once I'm certain was a lovely facility. It still contains a picturesque inner court/ garden. With the infusion of, probably significant money, to update the rooms, it would be a gem! Too, the manager ( a woman), was truly amazing re: washing and drying my clothes in record time. The price is very low, perhaps fair for the facility. .

The rooms are quite dated. I had alot of trouble with the toliet and the shower was inconsistent regarding hot water.
