Everything. Novel facilities for very basic food prep but it all works fine

What a lovely stay we had at Mandalay. Such a peaceful location; we had a downstairs room which exceeded our expectations. Spotlessly clean and very nice hosts. Will be recommending to our friends and family.

We love Mandalay, this was our third visit. The room is very clean, comfortable and has everything we need. Cream tea on arrival which is a lovely touch. Caroline and Trevor are lovely hosts, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We will be back again in the future.

Everything was so clean comfortable and peaceful loved my stay.

Very beautiful room and very friendly owners

I actually said WOW when we saw our room. It was larger than expected and tastefully decorated We had a balcony overlooking beautiful Cornish countryside and a working farm next door. It was lovely to enjoy our breakfast out on the balcony listening to the sheep and cows and watching the house martins swoop overhead. The photos don't do the room justice. There was lots of storage space, a fridge for fresh milk, etc., a microwave and kettle and everything else we needed. The good sized, modern, ultra clean bathroom had enough surfaces to allow any washing up to be done in the bowl provided (T towels, dishcloth and washing up liquid also provided). We really appreciated the fresh scones, jam and cream too (thank you). We had the most comfortable large bed with beautiful quality bedding. And it was so quiet and peaceful that we slept really well. The hosts were welcoming and were genuinely eager to make sure we had everything we needed. I could go on but suffice to say we had a fantastic stay at Mandalay and would highly recommend to all.

Heerlijke bedden, geweldige douche , prettig ingerichte kamer met een klein terras, waar we geen gebruik van hebben gemaakt, omdat op dag 1 het te warm was en op dag 2 te winderig. Er was geen ontbijt mogelijk. Dus zelf meenemen. Er is een klein koelkastje, een magnetron en bestek en serviesgoed. Aardige hosts die allerlei tips hadden en scones en melk in het koelkastje hadden gezet ter verwelkoming.

De weg ernaar toe was de laatste 1,5 km. spannend: erg smal, met bochten en heuvels en dan komt er net een tegenligger, waardoor we 2x een heel eind achteruit moesten rijden tot er ergens een klein breder stukje was. Het ligt verder nogal geïsoleerd, maar op vrij korte rijafstand van Tintagel en Boscastle.
