Utu Homestay

This stay was excellent in every way, and very good value for money. Amazing big and comfy bed (I still miss it actually), clean spacious and nice room with a private little patio, and a good clean modern bathroom. Ketut was also incredibly helpful, especially when I arrived in the pouring rain late on a Sunday night. They were waiting for me with an umbrella and carried my rucksack in, which was such a lovely welcome. There's a fridge and kettle too. The drinking water was also very welcome.

The owner and all the staff are friendly, helpful, respond to all your needs immediately, and did their best to ensure we had a great experience. The rooms have everything you need, clean, spacious and modern. It is in nature, close to the center and quiet and peaceful. The breakfast options are very diverse, each option was delicious. On the street it is located, there are cafes, restaurants, laundry service, massage, everything is very close, within walking distance. And their dog MOKU is very sweet, we loved him very much. If we come to this area again, we would definitely want to stay again.

Very friendly staff and always with a smile on the face! The room was very cozy and clean. The bathroom was big with good pressure on warm water. The pancakes were our favourites compared to other locations. They also rent scooters for a reasonable price! We liked it so much that we booked a second night! We will definitely come back when we are in Ubud again!

Good location, helpful staff, friendly family. Hostess give us plug adapter to charge my phone, offer free massage during our stay and even give 2 big coconuts as gifts the last day. Even the equipment is simple and basic, but it is very spacious, especially bathroom, staff clean room and mede bed everyday, bring your breakfast to your balcony, everybody try their best to make their guests feel comfortable. By the way, there is a good coffee in front of Homestay, and a lot of good restaurants around.

Good location. A lot of restaurants around. Decent shower pressure. Large room with shelves for your things. They offered breakfast due to the construction next door.

They have a dog who barks when you come and go which can be quite startling if you're afraid of dogs. Only the first couple of days though.
