BAYT ZAINA - Nubian hospitality house

Nice location just on the river, nice view and clean room, also 2 restaurants with good food just outside the property. Our host was excellent, welcomed us with a big smile and 2 refreshing welcome drinks that were delicious, he helped us book many attractions and always texted us to make sure everything is going as planed, 10/10 would recommend Thank you for everything!

Foremost the location, the breakfast was delicious, instant coffee was not great, would be nicer with a coffee machine. overall good with an amazing view. The staff/family was very welcoming and extremely helpful to organise activities with them or with third parties. Great stay overall, warmly recommend.

Only two small technical details for which there could be an easy fix: The automatic door closer for the room. Unnecessary and annoying. Please uninstall it :) The bathroom "door"/plastic curtain is pretty annoying too but maybe best solution based on the tight space available.

The setting, the peace and quiet, the flora and fauna and the wonderful Nile views. The staff were lovely and the accommodation was very clean and comfortable.

We liked this accommodation very much. It was a little far from the town but with community ferry it was fast to get to the center. The ferry only costs 10 egyptian pounds for person (0.20 €) and it's very fast. They make us breakfast boxes when we went to Abu Simbel. The view from the hotel was wonderful.

Nice secluded location on an island (possibly) in the river Nile. Very exotic with rural surroundings & a village with farms just behind the guest house. U have to hire a motor boat to reach there, so it is a good idea to do your sightseeing in the city Aswan before you check in as the boat service is neither prompt nor cheap.

Limited modern amenities like no lift, little toiletries etc in room. Do carry your toothbrush & toothpaste etc. However no complaints as this setting is acceptable as one is on a semi- urban holiday. Towels were there nicely.

The rooftop view was amazing! So peaceful up there.

I really appreciated the tranquility of this accommodation during the night and morning. The view from the balcony, overlooking the Nile towards the botanical gardens, was a highlight. There were two restaurants nearby, with Nile View being our preferred choice. The rooms were compact but comfortable, and although the bathroom was small with an unusual layout, it was still functional. The rooftop was our favorite spot. Breakfast was tasty, and the staff were great. Mohammed was an amazing guy, great english, very kind. He arranged a felucca ride for us, which was a perfect experience. Overall, I absolutely loved my stay here.

Nothing it was a peaceful stay after an intense Cairo experience

Just wonderful place to escape on the Nubian island and the roof terrace is glorious to relax on. Very helpful staff who helped us with organising the things we wanted to do. Will definitely be back.
