I can’t say enough good things about this property. Not only is it a peaceful and beautiful country setting, it’s immaculate and so cute. They have also included everything you’d need. Their attention to detail was amazing, including a bucket of carrots for us horse lovers and lots of yummy, little snacks! Lisa and John are wonderful hosts. They are very friendly and helpful. We, unknowingly, left something behind and they asked if they could send it to us! This was our 2nd stay and we are already looking forward to staying there again in the near future.

Like an Airbnb, but without the hassle. Charming, comfortable, extremely friendly and helpful staff. The room even had an air filter because of smoke from fires in the area. We got to feed carrots to the horse!

Can see and hear freeway although the beautiful rural surroundings make that not a big deal.

Everything was more than anticipated. Exceptionally friendly service and quality accommodations. My stay involved my first visit to my infant granddaughter. I appreciated landlady Lisa's hospitality very much. No matter what your plans are, you will undoubtedly enjoy this B&B, which is a peaceful countryside spa retreat with awesome views. I'll definitely be back.

Slight septic odors in the bathroom, which is typical country living.. Just opened a window and shut the bathroom door at night.

20 minute drive to downtown Ashland - we missed that before booking.

Applinger Farm was such a great little find! They only have the one room they rent, so it was really quiet and peaceful. The hosts were super friendly, the room/bathroom were incredibly clean and they had thought of every little thing you might need while staying there, including snacks, water and bathrobes to wear out to the hot tub. It’s clear the hosts truly care about their guests. We’d definitely stay there again.

It is 5-10 minutes outside of Ashland so you have to drive to get to restaurants etc, but we were aware of that beforehand so it didn’t bother us.

Everything, was one of the best place we have ever stayed. Quiet, peaceful, super clean. Beautiful garden, oh and the snacks wonderful. We will be coming back when we are in Ashland!
