Good location, hidden from main road, close to downtown.

Location was good, staff were super friendly and helpful

Was so noisy, so I can’t sleep good, hotel need better care and cleaning, in shower was a lot of mold, that unhealthy for everyone. Beds are hard and in the rooms so hot, maybe air conditioning is a good idea. YOU CANT PAY BY CARD - such a big (bed) surprise.

Manager and staff were very kind and helpful.

The price of the beer was the most expensive we got so far in Sri Lanka! The breakfast was very tasty but for the price very little food… when we saw the price we thought it was a menu with pancakes, string hoppers and rotti however you get to choose just one…

The staff of this guesthouse get an 11 out of 10, they were so warm and welcoming, they helped us arrange tuktuks up to the tea factory. The grounds are very green & natural. We stayed in two different rooms. The top one is a big lovely space with a lovely balcony, but the configuration of the beds means the space isn't utilized very efficiently. Would be better to put bunks plus a double & another single to make it more roomy, or consider a sofa bed maybe? The other wooden quad cabin was also a bit squashed in but very pretty. The breakfast was lovely. The hang-out parlor room with games is cute, location is great, just a short walk up the street from the madness of Ella High Street, very easy to walk up to Nine Arch Bridge & Little Adams Peak/Zipline etc from here. The BEST thing about this little place are the people, for sure. They sent us on our way with yummy chocolate sponge cake.

Just a bit cramped with beds in the family room & the hot water was unpredictable on/off. The quad room didn't have enough electricity plugs to plug in the kettle or to charge phones or plug in the fans. Maybe get them installed on the other side wall? I did need to fans going as white noise otherwise you can hear dogs barking all night, but that is an Ella thing, not just this area.

We booked at the very last minute for 10 people, and yet the staff were so welcoming and accomodating. It was in a convenient location, just a few minutes walk from town. The rooms were comfortable and the common areas had a cool, laid back vibe, overlooking the street.
