The building was in dire need of renovation. The carpets were threadbare and looked like they hadn't been hoovered in some time. The whole place smelled stale and very musty. No openable window in one of the rooms. Middle of July and the radiators were on contributing to the smell and the heat was overpowering. I had to wash the cup up before making a hot drink as it was caked in dust. The taps screeched like something out of a horror film when you turned on the water. Bed was uncomfortably soft and there were dubious looking stains on the walls.

Nice small clean room. Good tea and coffee making stuff. Some fruit and biscuits. Clean bedding clean towels. Very cheap price

Heating came on in the morning. Could have done with WiFi as the internet in rural Wales is poor.

Although the property doesn’t offer breakfast, we were provided with a very welcome pot of instant porridge and a banana plus the tea and coffee making facilities

There was a loose socket on the wall

I arrived at the property and there was no one there. I called and it was just an answer machine, I knocked on the surrounding properties, but no answer. There were lights on at the venue, but no host anywhere to be found. Very disappointing, I had to find somewhere else to stay at additional cost. Would not recommend at all, extremely poor experience.

Room was larger than I'd expected from the photo. Shower was excellent.

No wifi as they were in the middle of changing suppliers and phone reception was a bit tricky. I had to guess at a taxi company (which didn't work out so well).

Host messaged me after booking say they cannot accept card payment, only cash or bank transfer I asked them to cancel it and couldn’t get hold of anyone on phone or on email for 3 days. I best not have been charged for this

Pleasant area. Pub next door friendly. Good for walks and nature reserves close
