Beautiful setting, wonderful staff

We can't express enough how much we enjoyed this stay in Sri Lanka. The breakfasts and dinners were exceptional, and the views from the terrace where we dined were truly extraordinary. The owner and the staff were accommodating and professional, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The hikes in the tea plantations, recommended by the owner, were spectacular and expertly described. Our hike in the Knuckles Forest Reserve was equally astonishing, and we were captivated by its unique beauty. Without a doubt, this was our most memorable stay in Sri Lanka.

Everything was perfect

Everything about Rangala House is wonderful. The location is stunning. We visited in quiet season so had the house to ourselves. The staff are truly lovely and made us the most delicious meals with many ingredients from their own livestock and gardens. The room was large with beautiful views and pool was lovely. They organised our transport and guide for trekking in the Knuckles Mountains and provided us with a packed lunch. Now all we need to do is visit their restaurant, The Kandyan, in Bristol in England because if the food there is anywhere near as good as it was at Rangala House we are in for a treat.

This is absolutely wonderful place, run by wonderful crew! Thank you Anthony and Sam for a wonderful time! your hospitality, your time, your magical Rangla house! The food was delicous, the room was superior, the view... breathtaking and hipnotizing:) We miss You, we miss Rangala, we miss Knucles! All best!
