Quinta de Santana - Queimadas

Nice quinta in the mide of the nature. Large and dry size rooms.

The house was very cozy, with a wonderful decoration, an amazing garden and a priceless silence. Luís made us feel at home with the amazing stories and the researches he shared with us, about Furnas and his family. We are very glad we spent some time here, we wish we can go back soon! The host was very friendly and caring. Offered advice about the area. Made us feel very welcome.

The bathroom was not on suite. The bed was not good.

Space was pretty and in an ok location

Poor cleaning and higiene, owner was late to the check in and unreachable for a long time and inconvenient when talking to us.

Quiet , spacious, cozy house surrounded by a beautiful garden with big trees, plants and fruit trees. Nice big bathrooms and living area with full of family history.

I had the whole place to myself: I was the only guest. I could use the kitchen and living room. I needed to use the living room to get a consistent WiFi connection. In the bedroom it worked some of the time.

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. His check-in policy is that you can't access your room until 6 PM, and there is no one there earlier in the day so you can drop off your luggage. I was in Furnas only one night and brought just a backpack. But I had to wear it all day long, and it held a computer and other not-so-light weight items. From pre-arrival communications with the host I was under the impression that I could drop off the backpack upon arrival.
