"Friendly, helpful owner, beautiful place to stay"

Beautiful surrounding of the property with many trees and plants, created by the owners son. The owner who welcomed us was extremely nice and helpful, he shared many tips and gave us recommendations where to go, where to eat. We had a really nice chat with him. He let us leave our bags at the reception after checkout. Furnas is one of the most beautiful areas in Sao Miguel Island, make sure you plan more days there, we only had 1 night there sadly.

It is in a nice (very green) location, just outside the village. No breakfast but within a 5 minutes walk you can get coffee in the morning (after 9 though). Knowledgeable host with lots of information on site too. Recommended

Not directly in the center but easy to reach on foot. Surrounded by a lot of green. Very friendly and helpful host.

In the description not clear that the bathroom is outside of the room (which was not a big issue!) :)

Tucked away but close to town. The location is excellent. Quiet, peaceful, mixed in with their garden. A well-equipped shared kitchen available to use! Parking available. Laundry service available (extra cost). Luis and his son offer a great, generous, friendly stay. I’ve been gone one day and I miss it already. I will hopefully be back!

The owner was very nice and supportive. They have a wonderful establishment.

While the bathroom was private, it was not in suite, which was not clear in the advert on booking.com
