Pension Bonnard

we booked the family room which has been completely renovated. Modern, clean and comfortable. The hotel offers optional breakfast, meals and drinks. It can snow heavily in Hakuba and if you don't have a 4w drive, you might get stuck. But Taka was kind enough to help me out with maneuvering the car. The hotel is charming and within walking distance to the ski lifts. The hotel staff is very helpful and can organize all from bus rides to lift tickets to snowboard rentals. We will definitely come back.

Great place for a group to stay!

The staff was very helpful and drove us to dinner.

Taka and Kayo were so friendly and welcoming. They picked us up from the train station and provided meals for us. They gave us information about the ski lodge nearby and ensured that we had everything we needed. The rooms were cozy and warm, it felt like home. Special mention to Kazu who worked at Pension Bonnard but also met us out on the slopes sometimes. Everyone was wonderful, excited to go back again!

The property is very clean & felt homely. Centrally located to the restaurants & bars & a short walk to the ski lifts. Nice comfy beds after a day on the runs.Taka & Kayo are wonderful hosts & their daughter adorable.

Nothing

The house was warm, spotless clean and provided generous amenities. The rooms, though typically small were well arranged so we had enough hooks and hangers to put our ski and winter clothing in order. Best of all were the two hosts and their helper. They were friendly, helpful while in the same time maintaining their Japanese politeness manner. We had breakfast and dinner in house ( pre-booked ). All meals were delicious, thoughtfully and beautifully prepared. Baby chan made every one laugh, brightened up our days !

The meals made in house were amazing, the hosts offered us any information or assistance we required and were always willing to talk about what we were up to during the day. The room we stayed in was very well equipped, clean and felt really comfortable to be in.

The host couple with their daughter and the staff were lovely and welcoming. They offered very clean and comfortable room with amazing food. My cousin that came with us stayed in another place without breakfast, the owners were so nice to make an extra portion for him.
