Hakone Villa

The staff is very kind and helpful. This is more of a family business. So I felt more like visiting my grandparents rather that spending my time at a hotel or guest house so the atmosphere is quite good.

The house was/is quite old therefore any future resident should expect the problems which comes with this like not so clean walls etc. also there was no AC in the house. [I'd like to point out that the staff cleans everything everyday so it is clean but they should renovate sooner rather than later.]

Beautiful views and lovely staff who will pick you up from the bus stop!

Our assigned room had a really intense chemical smell (a bit worrying) so we asked to move rooms. Staff was very responsive and dealt with it right away. Had a comfortable nights sleep once that was sorted.

The owner was nice and it was one of only few reasonably priced options.

The place is remote, even by local standards and it got quite cold at night.
