"Clean and simple, but don't expect to sleep until after 1am"

The room was simple, clean and had everything I needed for a one night stay. Check in was easy. There were two shared. bathrooms between the rooms which was suficient

The noise. I knew it was above a pub before I booked but had wrongly assumed that it would be closed after 1130pm. Turns out that they have live music on every weekend until 1230am. Then there was also significant sound of tables and chairs being moved around until after 1am.. To be fair to the hosts, a note about the live music is written in the fine print, but I saw this too late, and I honestly can't see how anyone in the 6+ hotel rooms would have been able to sleep until after the pub had shut down.
