Large room in a quiet location

Lots of insects in the bathroom especially.

As ever a great place to stay,great host ,great breakfast. Highly recommended

This is not a hotel but a homestay. Mr Haran, who runs the place looked after is like we were invited guests

It’s near the Nallur Kandawaswamy tempel.

Location and staff was great

Staff, location and breakfast all excellent. The downstairs rooms have been renovated with modern bathrooms so go for one of these.

Our upstairs room was very tired with a single fluorescent tube light just to add that extra ambience.🤣 The air-con deflection vent was missing directing cold air straight onto the bed.⛄️ The bathroom had cracked tiles in the shower which also leaked water. Whilst the filthy and cracked windows were bunged up with toilet paper at the bottom to keep out the mosquitoes. The mouldy bathroom ceiling completed the picture!👎

Spacious and comfortable rooms, very nice common areas. Haran is the best host we have ever had, not only in Sri Lanka. Thanks to his advice our visit to Jaffna was perfect. He also helped us find the best solution for our return to Colombo by personally accompanying us to catch the night bus. The dinner at Nallur was the best in Sri Lanka.

The location is nice, very close to the Nallur Temple, Rios ice cream and old city ruins. Haran was a very helpful host in planning things, particularly for those on a budget. The breakfasts are amazing!! Some of the best food of our trip, especially the milk hoppers

The house is old and the rooms are not in the best shape. There were water marks all over the ceiling and walls. The room smelled very strongly of moth balls. The furniture in rooms and common areas are quite worn and the eating area has office chairs and tables. Host is in the common area with friends often watching netflix. The garden is nice but no place to sit and use it.
