"Amazing view from comfy beds"

Owner and staff were super friendly, really helpful and chatty! Beds were amongst the most comfortable we had on our trip. Rooms were very big and had a homely atmosphere. Fantastic view over town! Bathroom a bit small, but shower was good.

The disadvantage of having a great view is that there is an uphill climb at the end of a long day... but I'd say that overall it was worth this extra effort.

We loved the character of the beautiful old building, the quirkiness of the bedrooms, the old pictures, books and most of all the wonderful view from the upstairs room and the breakfast room. We loved our stay with Rodger, he was an excellent host. Thank you Rodger.

We had no issues with anything. If anyone is too precious to enjoy this lovely old home then a characterless motel room would suit them better and they would miss out on a memorable experience.

A grand house overlooking the town, with lots of wood paneling and beautiful leaded glass - a real pleasure for the eyes. Plenty of power sockets, lamps and lights, and we had a very comfy bed on the top floor.
