216 Venice

The location was perfect. Only a few minutes from the train and bus station. It felt very safe. There was a shared kitchen with equipment, including a coffee maker. The room was spacious, and the shower was great. A few minutes down the road is a fabulous restaurant: Pizza and Pasta e non solo. The best lasagne ever! And the pizza was marvellous too. The communication with the bnb was excellent, and there was a friendly Italian gentleman who greeted us and explained the keys.

On the whole, it was very good. Being English, we would've liked a kettle in the room for early morning tea, but the kitchen was fine.

Very close to train. Friendly staff. Close to restaurants and food shopping.

Not much in the way of kitchen utensils. Door over sink is low with sharp corner that left a nice bruise on my neck.

Spacious room and clean. The toilet also very clean. Room have balcony that we can hang our laundry there. Wifi signal was strong. Our beds were quite big too. Shared kitchen also clean. There is washing machine in the kitchen Building have lift although it's quite small, still ok for us for our bags. Walking distance to nearest SPAR supermarket (about 6 mins walking only) A lot of halal food nearby too. Bus stops also closeby.

The TV doesn't have much channel, but that was not a big issue for us.

Great location, very clean and handy! The B&B is on the first floor so not too many stairs to get in. We had the room we requested, had a lovely balcony and comfortable bed. We arrived earlier than expected but the host was easily reachable over the phone and instructed us on how to get in. The bed was comfortable and extra pillows were available. There was enough storage and the bathroom equipment was perfect. The kitchen was clean and we found most appliances easy to use.

- There is no cooker above the stove so you cannot make hot meals. But there is an oven and a microwave, you just have to plan your meals accordingly ;) - The walls are thin so if your fellow guests are loud, you're in for a noisy stay. But the host does mention in the ad that no parties are allowed so it's mostly couples hanging out. If your neighbours are responsible and respectful, it's not a big deal :) - The balcony goes from the kitchen to our room, so privacy can be an issue. Although it is easy to put our room's blind down. We did not have problems with that but I think some people might.
