SeaGate Bungalows

The place is just awesome!!! The location is beyond beautiful- way way more picturesque than on all of the pictures l. You re sleeping just above the water. Borja & Yunyun are incredible hosts!! They helped to arrange everything for you (scooter, trips, snorkeling equipment) and sent us to the best places. Food was delicious- Yunyun is an awesome chef - breakfast 10/10 and dinner too!!! If youre staying on Pulau Weh - this is the place to be!!!

The bungalow at SeaGate is exactly where you want to spend any amount of nights on this tropical Indonesian island. It is comfortable and clean with a picturesque view which you can take in in the hammock on the balcony. Borja and Yuyun were seriously stand out hosts. They cooked amazing food for us, provided fresh coconuts, gave us lots of information, and rented out snorkel equipment and motorcycles. They looked after us with so much care and kindness, we truly feel that they are our friends upon leaving. We would definitely go back both because of the property but also Borja and Yuyun.

Clean, quiet and the rooms luxuriously comfortable. Hosts were magnificent, welcoming and helpful.

A little remote so you need your own transportation. Using the becak can get expensive over the course of a week.

The bungalow doesn't have air-con, although the 2 rooms do.

Borja and Yuyun were perfect hosts - so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The view from our room across the bay was spectacular. The room was clean and comfortable. Our stay was excellent value for money. We could not fault this place.

We arrived at this beautiful, family-run place and were immediately warmly welcomed by Borja and Yuyun, the young owners of SeaGate. They gave us many tips and showed us their paradise right at the bay. During the time we were there, there only were two rooms and one bungalow - so not many people to expect in this calm realm. Once we've checked out the beautiful house reef (which you can access right from the terrace) Borja kindly organized us a scooter so we could access the nearby beaches and dive shops. The place is clean, comfy & beautiful, but what makes it so special is definitely the way Borja and Yuyun make you feel at home. They helped us with everything, yet weren't pushy at all and left us enough space to relax. Yuyuns cooking (Breakfast and Dinner) was outstanding as well. Book it as long as it's available ;) Their kindness exceeded regular customer care by far. We loved it there and would recommend it to anyone. Will definitely come back to SeaGate in Pulau Weh.

I have stayed 4 days at SeaGate bungalows and it’s a beautiful place, I didn’t want to leave. Borja y Yuyun (the owners) are very caring and even after just few days the place felt more like a home away from home. It’s one of the best places I have stayed and I highly recommend it!
