"A lovely stay in Whitby"

The proprietors were friendly & helpful nothing was too much trouble for them. A phone call from them on the morning we were due to travel asking for an approximate arrival time & to say whether our room would be available for that time was a lovely touch, on site free parking is a plus especially in Whitby. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated,spacious & clean it had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend a visit to this guest house.

The walk up the hill from the town centre,although it was only a 10min walk. Don't let this put you off there is a bus stop not far from the front door.

"Great weekend in whitby"

Lovely friendly owners who made us feel really welcome during our stay. Beautifully presented throughout with our room being spotlessly clean and very comfortable . We would definitely recommend Overdale Guesthouse and hope to return when next in whitby 😀

Everything from acknowledging the reservation to our check out was really efficient, friendly and professional. Jayne the owner met us on arrival and arranged the car parking. Our room on the top floor was very spacious, spotlessly clean and well equipped. It was a 15 min walk into the centre of Whitby. We had the choice of a light breakfast but chose not to have it. We are really glad that we chose to stay at Overdale and highly recommend it.
