Overdale Guesthouse and Free Parking

It was very easy to get to, Jayne and Keith were lovely Jayne was very welcoming . We stayed in the chalet out of the back of the house it was really comfortable and clean The parking is really good as I’m Whitby it can be difficult to park

The owner, Jayne. Was so friendly and made us feel so happy. Wish we had heard the owls, but the bed was so comfy I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.

It's fully booked for our trip to Whitby in October lol

Ideal location to walk into town and free off road parking. Bus stop just outside for bus to Scarborough. Jayne was a very pleasant host.

The room was large and tastefully furnished. The bed was large The room had a fridge The room contained tea and coffee making facilities. In our first day, Jayne brought us some coffee bags which made outstanding coffee Bathroom was lovely, and spotless

The fridge had a tendency to freeze things placed inside it. The bed, whilst large was quite lumpy and uncomfortable. Perhaps the mattress needs replacing? The car parking was chaotic. We arrived early so our vehicle was hemmed in for the duration of the stay - not a problem. When we wanted to leave, proprietor appeared reluctant to ask guests to move vehicles so we could get an early departure. As a result our journey home took considerably longer than we would have liked.
