Rocking Chair Farmhouse

The location was great, we wanted somewhere a little out of the way but with plenty to do not too far away and this property covered that tremendously! The owner, Andrew couldn't have been more helpful! A wonderful trip :)

Everything was spot on, we couldn't have been happier with our stay. Andrew made us feel that nothing was too much, if we needed anything additional we just had to shout.

Location is great for weddings at doxford

No oven in kitchen.

Pleasant apartment, part of a farm-based cafe shop etc complex. The manager was friendly and flexible re arrival time etc and helpful with advice. It was spacious and comfortable for two couples. There was a comfortable lounge area. The outlook was pleasant and reasonably well connected to the local road network.

None of these were real complaints/deal breakers but some points that visitors may be interested in. There is not a full kitchen, only a microwave; there was noise from the farm in the early morning; quite remote from shops etc.

Friendly and welcoming staff, lovely homely accommodation. Fabulous breakfast at the café.

Could do with the door knob to the bedroom fixing as kept falling off.
