Malacca Jonkerhouse

The location was fantastic. Within walking distance to everything of interest. The room (Kasturi room on Level 2) was very clean and comfortable. Mini fridge and microwave was provided and the instant water heater allowed for hot showers. The housekeeper was really welcoming and friendly.

The proximity to the road can be an issue some nights when people on modified motorcycles revved their engines (Friday and Saturday night). It can get very loud. A good pair of ear plugs helped overcome this. Interestingly, we didn’t have any noise issues on Sunday night (no motorcycles).

FIRST OF ALL, KUDOS TO KAKAK THAT GREET US THE OWNER OF THIS OLACE MUST GIVE HER LOTS OF APRECIATION GIFT . It CLOSE TO EVERYTHING. TO THE LEFT HAVE SIMPLE CHINESE CAFE, WALK A BIT HAVE INDIAN CAFE YUMMY FOOD. TO THE RIGHT THERE EVERYTHING U WANT IN MELAKA. HOUSE CLEAN, BED COMFY, GOT XTRA EXTENSION FOR CHARGING, HAVE WASHING MACHINE IF U STAY LONGER BUT I DONT THINK HAVE PLACE TO DRY UR CLOTH.

NOTHING.. LET ME THINK. HMM. NAAAHHH I DONT HAVE WHAT INDONT LIKE. WE BRING OUR OWN PUMP MATTRES SO EVERYONE OF US HAVE MATTRESS. WE STAY THE GROUND ROOM. EASY FOR MY NENEK

The guest house is in a perfect location, just a stone away from Jonker Walk. The amenities provided are basic but yet sufficient. Ell, the staff, is very friendly and responsive. She texted me before I checked in which I later realised she wanted to make sure the guests are well 🙂 I highly recommend this place!
