"Great central location with easy walking distance to most of Funchal's attractions."

This apartment is right across the street from the main market which starts activities very early given the market includes a fish market with daily catches. Which is a positive aspect if you seek local vibes and downtown action. Not so good if you wish a quiet place to rest. That said, the apartment is well equipped and comfortable. It is located close to historic centre, with plenty of shops, restaurants and large grocery stores.

The street also includes a couple of bars and restaurants which could get noisy, especially in the high tourist season.

"Recommended self-catering apartment in a great location."

The apartment is in a great location for a city break in Funchal- near the bus stop, supermarket, bars and restaurants. We were in room 3- A duplex apartment with a good balcony with furniture and a clothes line. We had a view over the rooftops and the market plus a glimpse of the sea and cruise ships.The apartment was well equipped and clean. The host José was very friendly and helpful.
