Great view of Etna from my room, spacious room with good air con. Located close to the castle and lots of eateries

lots of stairs but got help from the owner to carry my bags- greatly appreciated. there was a small issue with the plumbing but it was addressed promptly

The room and location were fantastic. The room is very nicely decorated and the apartment is situated right at the centre of Catania, near many restaurants, all the main attractions and with an amazing view of the Etna right from the window.

We stayed in the bedroom with ensuite bathroom and we had a few issues with the water supply and the toilet during our stay. The toilet cistern was temperamental and the shower wasn't working very well, causing the complete lack of water. There were no toiletries in the room (shampoo/shower gel) or enough toilet paper. Enough towels were provided, which seemed to have been washed but had a lot of stains on them, which made them look quite dirty. And If you need to use the WiFi, the only place it was working was the common areas, not in the bedroom sadly.

The room was outrageously dirty. Most of the surfaces had multiple layers and generations of filth. The bedsheets were not changed and stained when we arrived. There was a chair in the room that was dirtier than park benches. Everywhere above eye level there was even less cleaning done. The accommodation is not fit to live in as it is a health hazard. Maybe it can be turned into a homeless shelter as it smells the same. Cherry on top is that the keys you get work for all the doors in the property, so your neighbors have access to your stuff and room. Also, what is not clear when you book is that it is a big apartment that you share with other people. My girlfriend caught fleas after sitting on the bed. The lady who came to "clean" our room put the blanket on the floor, then put it on the bed, on the sheet that was just changed. We ended up refusing the blanket and covered ourselves with the towels. All in all, would not recommend to anyone.

Amazing place, very spacious room and bathroom, great decor and the best part the view for the volcano. Located also very close to the city center. Would definitely book again.

I loved the fact it was so close to the city but very quite at night. We stayed only 50m down the road at the beginning of our trip and it was sooo noisy. The views of Etna, large windows and stylish apartment was extremely good value for money. The staff were very friendly and check out felt relaxed. Thank you for hosting us on such short notice.
