The room is in the Center of the City. The bathroom is fine and sharing is no problem as there are only two rooms.

The air condition did not work. And the mattress is worn out. There is a curve in the middle, so if two people sleep together in bed they will roll into the middle part.

Great location and beautiful old apartment. It was only 5 mins walk from the main square but there was a great square beside it by the castle that had really nice bars and late night chilled vibe. Even caught an impromptu gig one evening with this great band. Was perfect to watch and have a drink after a busy day site seeing.

This was a private room with private bathroom in really beautiful old apartment. There was another room in the apartment with another couple staying in it. It wasn’t clear at booking that this was the set up. ( probably my mistake) It wasn’t a problem. Just not what I was expecting. The bed wasn’t comfortable. It sloped in the middle. Otherwise no problems and I would recommend this as a place to stay in Catania.

Good location close to the main attractions. Nicely designed apartment with amazing view of Etna. We only stayed one night so there was nothing extra we would need.

The check-in process was a little bit confusing. We agreed on a time of check-in, but once in the building, we were not sure were to find the apartment. Also the room was not ready on the agreed time so we were able to check in maybe half an hour later while waiting in the apartment. This is not a big issue but a short message in advance would be nice so we could go for a coffee or explore the city. I personally would prefer a self check-in using a key box, but that is more of a subjective preference.

The location was great, and the view from the window was nice.

First of all, the host never meet up with us during the whole trip, he asked us to let him know when we will be in the airport so he can meet us at the apartment but not only he never showed up, he didn't reply to our messages and calls. After about 10 minutes, wondering if we were at the correct place and how to access the apartment, we received a video on What's App that shows us how to access the room.... When we did manage to get into the apartment, we realized that it's literally an old apartment with very old wooden doors that he rents the rooms separately in the same space so obviously it's not a private room or apartment, it felt more of a shared apartment (WG) with no sound isolation between rooms and actually because he never shows up for the guests it seems, another person was trying to access our room while we were in there..... Of course, to make it even better, the place was not clean, and the towels were smelling really bad. We did find some ants in the room as well, but that was expected since it's an old apartment that they threw some money onto it to look like it's renovated. Also, the bed and the duvet had stains on them, and we found hairs on the "clean" sheets, so it makes us wonder if he even swaps them between guests. Overall, we were highly disappointed from this room, and we felt like we were scammed. We were considering booking another room the moment we enter the apartment and during our stay.

Nice apartment, good location, easy to find, host very helpful.

The location was really good. The place was clean, it looked nice, the bathroom was clean, the door handle kept falling but that’s not an issue at all :) It was big enough and we liked it. It had nice arrangement. Would absolutely recommend, money well spent.
