The host is a lovely Japanese elderly lady who speaks fluent English, making communication easy. There is a spacious shared living room, providing a great space to relax and socialize. Overall, the hostel offers a unique and cozy experience with a warm and welcoming host, making it a great choice for travelers looking for an authentic Japanese stay.

Clean. Excellent location, a stone’s throw away from the tourism center, train and bus stations, convenience store, restaurants. Warm welcome from the owner, Hiroko who was also attentive in attending to our needs and even going the extra mile to help me find and retrieve my missing pouch. Complete with amenities a travel would need.

Perfect location, host is very friendly and explained everything in very details. We reached slightly later so the host stay up to help us check in. A simple homestay to stay overnight to begin your Kumano kodo trekking in next day.

Cute old house converted from an old tea shop, the lady at check in was lovely and helped me find a good spot for dinner on my first night, atmosphere was great. Futon super comfy, room and common areas were super clean.

Was a little eery on my own for a night but nothing wrong with the accom!

Beautiful Japanese house near the train station. The hostess was very helpful and kind. I had an ear infection and needed to see a doctor. She helped me greatly by making an appointment for me, helping me along the way, making sure I knew the prices, where to go, at what time and everything else. I felt really helped in this moment of need. The house itself is really nice as well. Great price/quality!
