This inn gives you a genuine Japanese experience, but with all the modern conveniences. You can cook in their kitchen or eat out in the local neighborhood. You will be sharing the communal facilities with other guests, but that’s a good opportunity to make some new friends. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. A robot mows the lawn and they have a washing machine and dryer, which you will need if you are riding the Shimanami Kaido.

I felt obliged to tip toe around in the morning while other guests were still sleeping, but we just took our breakfast outside so we could talk in a normal voice.

The host was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was incredibly clean and orderly. Traditional japanese housing but at the same time had a feeling of modernity. I was impressed by the attention to detail on all amenities present in the accommodation. The bed was so comfortable. It has a perfect location for those cycling the Shimanami Kaido. Keep in mind that it is a shared house, so you will be sharing the same common spaces with others staying, although this was no issue for me. I would highly recommend Omishima Space and I hope to be back in future!

Beuatiful house and rooms, lovely and extremely helpful staff!!

We went biking and stopped for the night here,about half way. Good location,directly next to the biking path,few biking minutes to the next store. Nicely modernised old house with charm,not too many room so it was a nice atmosphere amongst the guests. Our room was very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped and there was a free washing machine and dryer.Staff speak little English but are very well prepared (written explanation cards) and super friendly! Thanks a lot! Totally recommend!

This place was the perfect stopover for my partner and I as we biked the Shimanami route. It was about halfway between Imabari and Onimichi so was perfect. It’s a little tucked away from the main road so not obvious to find at first, although google maps helped us locate it easily. Once there, we were blown away by how clean and comfortable the facilities were. We stayed in the bunk bed room as it was the only one available, but were perfectly comfortable, especially with all of the open shared space available just outside of our room. All amenities are provided. The place is spotless, even with cyclists coming through. The staff were very kind and helpful and booked us a reservation for dinner which ended up being a delicious traditional Japanese meal that was only a 15 minute bike ride away (be warned that there are not a lot of dinner options in the area, but there is also a 24 hour family mart open nearby). Highly recommend this stay!

離相關可以用餐盒購買買物品的商店太遠了。我們騎腳踏車到最近的Family要2公里。
