Beautiful, calm, well restored 90yr old traditional home with excellent modern twist. They have thought of everything .

Nothing , very easy to get to from Shinanami. Advise tourists to think of food early in afternoon as good places nearby often fully booked.

Very, very clean and great facilities. Slept very well

I’ve had a great time at the property, all the amenities were new, the bed was really comfortable, and you could really see that this house was renovated with great care and atention to detail.

Ringhörige Zimmer

Stayed as a pitstop while doing the Shimanami Kaido. Modernised traditional Japanese house. Staff was extremely welcoming and even wrote our name in Kanji. The house itself is clean, and there's even a free washing machine and dryer for use. For what we paid, we got great value and would definitely stay here again if doing the Shimanami Kaido or even just to visit the island.

There weren't many places open nearby late at night, but that is to be expected for a not-so-urban island, so this isn't a complaint to the accommodation itself. There are restaurants open until late if you look hard enough, and there's a Family Mart about a 10-minute cycle away, so don't be worried about starving.
