Amazing location along the Shiminami Kaido. The kitchen was stocked with snacks and late arrival food. The whole place was clean, beautifully restored, and our host was lovely.

Very convenient location along the cycling route, very calm. About 10 mins cycling to nearest convenience store. The accomodation is very nice, it feels very new on the inside, it's super clean and if you want to have a night in a traditional Japanese Ryokan, it's a great option. Staff was super friendly on arrival!

It was all good

From the moment I checked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome from the staff. The hostel was more like a home. Extremely clean and well kept with all the amenities you would hope. The beds were comfortable and rooms as well. There is no view of the ocean but you are only a few steps away, and I caught the sunset one morning. Instead you are in a small neighborhood which is quiet. It was the perfect stopping point along the shimanami kaido.

Nothing. A shared bathroom may be an inconvenience for some but it is separated bu gender which is nice. I would stay again!

Beautiful traditional house with a fully equipped kitchen. Clean shared bathroom with many amenities. The staff were super friendly.

The walls are thin since this is a traditional house. You might hear the other guests snoring, or just talking in the common area :)
